Volunteer Descriptions
Indoor League
Because Dynamo is an all-volunteer run organization, you are asked to select a volunteer position when registering your child. You can chose from the following options:
- Co-Coach
- Age Group Set-up
- Age Group Clean-up
- Site Liaison
- Team parent
- Video Coordinator (max 8)
Co-Coaches
Be on time before the game. Coordinate warm-ups for the first 10min on the field. Assure appropriate substitutions occur and provide instructions to players on the sideline and
during the water breaks. Encourage Team spirit and good sportspersonship.
Age Group Set-up
Be available to set up fields and equipment for your age group. Volunteers should arrive 15 minutes before their game if they are the first scheduled game for a given day.
Volunteers will be shown where equipment is stored and how to set up.
Age Group Clean-up
Be available to clean-up fields and equipment after your age group's day. This pertains only when the volunteer's child plays the last game of the day. Volunteers will be shown
how to break down material and where to store equipment.
Site Liaison
Assign and instruct set-up and clean-up volunteers. Monitor game tranisitions and use of video/snack room at St. Edmund's Field House site. Contact Indoor Commissioner with any
pressing issues. Because the commissioner cannot be on site at all times, this volunteer is basically the eyes/ears of the commissioner during their assigned times.
Team Parent
The team parent is responsible for communicating emails between the indoor commissioner and the coaches/parents. They are also responsible for coordinating and communicating a
snack schedule for their assigned team.
Video Coordinator
Maintain supply of videos and set up or take down video equipment. The video materials are stored only at the St. Edmund's Field House site in a locked cabinet. Volunteers will be
walked through set-up, break down, and storage. The first 8 volunteers will be selected for this job. Additional volunteers will be assigned to other jobs as needed.
